The GFDA is a movement
led by industry professionals

committed to lowering
waste in the built environment

Our Mission:

The GFDA prioritizes low-waste design practices to reduce construction waste for future generations.

Our Vision:
A world where…

Every designer has been trained in low-waste protocols.

Every builder has a trained deconstruction and sustainability expert on staff.
And recycling and reuse of materials is a line-item on every demolition bid.

The furniture we buy comes shipped in reusable crates, recyclable cardboard,
and bio-degradable film, instead of plastic.

Every architecture and interior design school includes modules on low-waste design
and responsible removable.

What’s Your Vision?
