LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the world's most widely used green building rating system. LEED certification provides a framework for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings, which offer environmental, social and governance benefits. Certification is rigorous and is commonly applied to commercial and institutional projects. We are focused on education, consulting services and partnerships that help members connect with community to learn how reduce wasteful practices and create healthier environments for their clients.

The Good Future Design Alliance is a registered California Public Benefit Corp. The GFDA Fund is fiscally sponsored by the SD Mayer Foundation on our behalf. The SD Mayer Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code as a tax-exempt public charity (Federal Tax ID: 32-0477420). The SD Mayer Foundation receives contributions and disburses those contributions to charities in the form of grants to further charitable and educational purposes. The GFDA's mission is to raise the public consciousness around construction industry waste and its contribution to climate change and to human health concerns. Donations to the GFDA Fund are tax deductible. Membership dues go to our operating budget and are not tax deductible.
